PRESCHOOL LESSONS

Preschool 1 – Tadpoles: This beginner class is for children ages 3-5 years who have had little to now experience with swimming and who are still uncomfortable in the water. Teachers will work with kids to increase their comfort in the water by learning songs, playing games and exploring different arm and leg action while blowing bubbles.
Preschool 2 – Seahorses: Children in this level have increased comfort in the water. They are able to submerge their faces and heads on command and are relaxed and able to coordinate arm and leg action.
Preschool 3 – Dolphins: Children in this level are comfortable in the water. They are moving away from needing the support of the instructor and are able to submerge easily and comfortably. They are able to swim short distances on their front and back unsupported. Once children complete Preschool level 3 (dolphin), they will be ready to transition to our school age level 2 or 3 (teacher will test and advise).
