Preserving The Past While Enriching The Future
Preserving The Past
For more than 130 years, the Y has been serving the Walla Walla Community and has been a powerful and positive influence in the lives of thousands of people.
Together with our members, volunteers and friends, we have made our community stronger by focusing on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
A healthy Y capable of making a significant impact in the community is a gift we have received from prior generations. It is a gift we should pass along, in a stronger position, to future generations.
While Enriching The Future
To ensure the passing of this gift, the Heritage Club was formed in 2013. Friends in the Heritage Club will perpetuate the purpose, values and traditions of the Walla Walla YMCA beyond their own lifetimes by gifting some of the assets they have accumulated to the Y’s permanent endowment fund.
Heritage Club Qualifications
Membership in the Heritage Club is open to individuals who inform us they have provided for the Y in their wills or trusts, or through other planned giving options: Gifts of cash, Gifts of appreciated assets, wills or bequests, charitable gift annuities, charitable trusts, retirement assets, life insurance, or life estate.
